BESS start up meeting – 25th-26th March 2013
The first BESS (Biodiversity and Ecosystem Service Sustainability) research meeting was held on the 25th and 26th March at the Royal Over-Seas League in London. The meeting was the first opportunity for the four consortia projects working under the BESS programme to share their progress since the launch last May and it was a great chance to see how the DURESS research fits in to the wider project.
Talks covered key topics for all the teams such as interdiciplinary working accross natural and social sciences and best practice and skill sharing across the projects plus a great session on communication strategies.
Check back soon for videos of some of the presentations given by the DURESS team.
For more information on the wider BESS project see their website: www.nerc-bess.net
